This is an exact facsimile reproduction of the original painting created by Aleister Crowley in the year 1918 e.v. SCARCE!! Published by Baphomet 93 Limited on the 12th day of October 1993 e.v. and is the only authorized edition. Printed on heavy textured stock, it measures approximately 14 inches x 19.5 inches (36cm x 50cm)

The original painting was apparently found lying under a rickety old bed in a crumbling house near Plymouth, before being whisked off to its new owner in the Midlands. At the launch of the limited edition of 666 fine art facsimiles, buyers were invited to see the original at a private viewing.

This is a seminal work of art and an exceptionally rare collectible to be treasured and enjoyed by any serious collector. We are confident of its valuation and we see these limited edition prints as sound investments, so much so that we are quite happy to hold onto it!

Aleister Crowley; born Edward Alexander Crowley; 12 October 1875 – 1 December 1947) was a controversial man. An English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Aeon of Horus in the early 20th century. A prolific writer, he published widely over the course of his life.
